So it's Friday night and I'm sure all you folks in brum are looking for something fun to do tonight? Well, if you're at a loose end then come join me and Fran at 78 bar where we'll be helping celebrate our good friends and Custard Factory Neighbours Get a Grips 1st Birthday!
It's been great seeing the shop grow over the last year, now it's packed full of hand printed tees, zines, prints and all sorts of other lovely goodies. If you ever have any screen printing needs they are the ones to call! To get the celebrations in full swing they'll be live music from our buddies Rad Medicine (divided opinion on whether this is the best or worst band name ever, I vote best), Health & Efficiency and Bangers. If that's not enough they'll also be live drawing all night from Brothers of the Stripe a great collective of image makers from across the UK. A nice introduction to their GAG shop exhibition running for the next week, definitely worth a look. Beer, punk rock, art and beards...it doesn't get much better than that in my opinion.
