This Months Theme is...

As I may have mentioned once or twice before, we're launching Checkmybox later this month! To celebrate, and give us a little extra time to work on all those little jobs, we're re posting the tutorials that will be featured in our range, and then later in the month we'll be posting some new ones from the kit range. So if your a regular here and have already tried out some of these, look out for those later ones.
It finally feels like everything has started to come together, and although we have a seemingly endless list of jobs to do we have a goal in sight. Tomorrow we'll be putting up the first tutorial of the month - our most popular one to date. Fran xx

Mid Month Mood Board

We're in Florida! We've only been here for a day now, but we're having a great time, even if the jet lag is kicking in a bit. We've done our best to organise the blog over the next week, but it's probably going to be a jumble of posts, when and where we can get them up! Not our usual level of structure... ahem....

Me and Hannah have decided to whip up a second mood board for each monthly theme. As the fickle and forgetful girls we are, we change our minds and find new, exciting, shiny things that inspire us. How ever much we plan, things are constantly changing around here, so we thought it would be nice to let you guys in on our thought processes. We wanted to explore more advanced options after the initial experiments in our monthly theme. We want to push ourselves further and create new and unique ideas. Hence the Mid Month Mood Board.

Hello everyone! Here we are, it's the 1st October. This month is going to be awesome. I'm off to the Cosmo Blog Awards party on Thursday (I don't have a clue what I'm wearing yet... starting to panic a little). Also it's my birthday at the end of the month so me and Hannah are taking a little holiday in Florida!! And to top it all off we've got so much planned for the blog this month. It's all pretty bloody exciting!

 

So Octobers theme is shrink plastic. It's a fantastic and very versatile substance, not just to print or draw on and make pendants or earrings from, but to shape and fit together, and we plan to use it in unexpected ways for this months tutorials. Tomorrow is the first Tutorial Tuesday of the month so come back to see what I mean and get a little taster of what's to come. Fran x
